It is my chosen vehicle to aide me in the delivery of my craft, and I wouldn't have it any other way. When combined with apochromatic objectives, the Leica Z line is superior to other zoom systems in contrast, sharpness, color fidelity and imaging precision. I do this because I believe in what I use. I do this without sponsorship or any gain monetarily. Hell, I even wear their label when people are photographing me so everyone can see who I proudly represent. Couple this with the fantastic and friendly customer service that I have grown to expect from any Leica store, you have a substantive and first class representation of the company.ĭoes this article sound like an advertisement for Leica, of course, it does, and I won't try to hide that fact. I was impressed not only by the array of new bodies and lenses but the selection of certified, previously owned gear as well. The selection of Leica equipment and accessories is exceptional for an establishment that is limited in the way of stock area. It is very reminiscent of the Leica store in Las Vegas of available square footage, using what they have effectively with maximum results. This store is compact yet powerful, simple yet bold. Now, back to the original purpose of this article, my shout out to the boys in Soho. For me, there is no substitute for my Leica. It's about what feels good in your hand and what you enjoy using the most. It’s about your skill and competency as a photographer. Leica are confident the police will recover the two cameras. It’s not about how many megapixels you have. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. I credit Alex Plasko for helping me understand early on that it’s not about the label on your gear. Leica cameras are my instrument of choice when it comes to my photography, done, end of story.
There should be no surprise here, another photograph of a different Leica Store and Gallery, oh my lord! Now if anyone one were to say that I was a Leica addict I would agree with them without hesitation. I am not ashamed of that fact.
